Walnut and Cheese Ravioli


  • 16 ounce package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/3 cup Bella Oliva Roasted French Walnut Oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (grated)


Cook ravioli according to the package directions. Drain, reserving 6 tablespoons of the cooking water.

Meanwhile, heat the walnut oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and walnuts, stirring until the nuts are lightly toasted and fragrant (about 5 minutes). Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper and parsley along with the reserved cooking water.

Add ravioli and toss to coat. Divide among plates and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Serve immediately.
