Grilled Peach and Feta Salad with Lavender Vinaigrette


  • 3 cups mixed greens
  • 1 small red onion cut into rings
  • 2-3 tablespoons of feta crumbled
  • 2 peaches, halved

lavender dressing

  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 5 tablespoons Bella OlivaEVOO (any Varietal EVOO, Fused Lemon, Basil or Milanese Gremolata EVOO),plus extra for brushing peach halves
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoonsBella Oliva Lavender Balsamic Vinegar

To make the dressing

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except for the olive oil. Slowly add the olive oil whisking to thoroughly combine. Add the onion rings to the dressing while preparing the salad (this will take the sharpness out of the onion.)

To make the salad

Lightly brush the cut side of each peach half with olive oil. On the grill or in a pan on the stove top, lightly grill the peach halves. Slice each half into segments.

On the serving plate, arrange lettuce, topped with the grilled peach segments.
Take the onions out of the dressing and arrange on top and sprinkle with the feta cheese.

Drizzle the dressing on the salad right before serving
