Bowtie Pasta with Sun Dried Tomatoes and Kalamata Olives


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. bowtie pasta
  • 3 tbsp. basil pesto
  • 4 tbsp Bella Oliva Basil EVOO
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package.
  2. Reserve one cup of cooking water.
  3. Drain and return to pot.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. In a skillet, add sundried tomato pesto, olives and chicken broth.
  6. Bring to a boil then remove from heat.
  7. Stir in heavy cream.
  8. Salt to taste.
  9. Add pasta.
  10. Place in serving dish then sprinkle with parmesan.
